>>>I can only hope that Catie received and reviewed the info I posted for her, in the event that the original post in that thread was not a troll.
There's no reason not to believe that it wasn't a troll. I mean, shit, the poster cites no one by name, and doesn't even know how to spell "Boxxy". If there was anything to this, we would have heard this from a real source.
Boxxylvr only embarasses himself when he claims that things that aren't science are science. He makes extravagant claims that I don't really believe, but the things that he posts in here aren't supposed to be peer reviewed. I would disagree with those who claim that anecdotal evidence isn't evidence at all, but anecdotal evidence, e.g., "testamonials" isn't science.
I'm not seeing anything anywhere by anyone that doesn't have an agenda. It's absolutely true that there are many commercial interests that would tend to be naturally opposed to developing cannibis as a medicine, and not just drug companies. In America, we now have huge special interests making money off of our prison systems, and these interests aren't shy about lobbying for severe criminal penalties for simple drug offenses.
None of this is evidence that cannibis is an effective medicine against cancer or anything else, but it muddies the water. All things considered, the water is muddy as fuck. I'd like to see more study of this. The fact that it's controversial means that it should require more study, not less study, and it's absolutely correct that commercial interests probably make further study less likely, not more likely.
We don't really need to get into the epistomology of this.
No one who is even a little bit intelligent, and Catie is much more than a little bit intelligent, is going to come to an image board for medical advice, beyond a topic for further study. If Catie had a brain tumor (almost certainly, she do
