whoa easy there tiger
i am aware different things were going on, but that's not what i meant.
i mean like, even though tatooine and hoth and endor are all different planets/moon, they all feel like they're part of the same universe. whereas naboo and the tatooine from the prequels just felt too... i don't know, crisp. they just didn't feel like they were part of the original star wars universe, and it could have been very easy to make the world for these movies just as crisp because of the technology.
It's still way too soon to say though, as none of us have seen the movie, obviously.

>>76126
When someone asked her that at babscon she said she loved the whole thing. :p
Uhmm, I don't really have any significant stories. You guys saw all the panels I was on.
Uhm, at one point I helped a 14 year old kid get into the panel Jenny and I did (it was 18+ because of swearing). So... there's that. Although his dad kept calling me boxxy even though I introduced myself as catie so that was a little annoying. :p

>>76127
Congratulations! That's awesome!

>>76129
yeah I actually find that rather odd that they would want to take a 7 hour trip just to see you for a day or two. I wouldn't feel bad, that's an odd thing. :p

As a matter of fact, yes. :3

Oh yeah, maybe we'll get to see the CMC grow a little, maybe get their cutie marks. That'd be neat.
How did you like the EQG movies?

I'm assuming you are Christopher and this is meant as a jab at me. Spoilers don't have to be just about plot. I think the only reason to watch a trailer/teaser is if you know nothing about the movie. Like I didn't know what Maze Runner was, so I wouldn't watch it without watching the trailer. I know Star Wars and I'm going to watch it regardless of what is shown in the trailer. Therefore, I wouldn't watch the trailer. This teaser doesn't spoil plot, but it has scenes that would have been better to have seen for the first time in the movie theater. I guarantee that seeing Han and Chewie for the first time would have been a more cathartic experience than seeing them in the trailer.

It could have still shown its age, though, considering the Republic is supposed to have been thousands of years old

>can't wait till i get my new charger for my mac!
I'm sorry to hear that!

>Yes, that's the thing: we still don't know anything about the actual movie. Which is good. I hope as it gets closer they don't reveal more and more. we'll just have to wait and see.
yep that's everything we can do. ^^ I hope the movie will be a big suprise and the trailers won't spoil the story in any way.
I never thought an old man and a harry bear can be so awesome. xD

Hello there. What does it do? I drunk a lot of rhabarber flavored drink with vodka and eaten a lot of meat so I think I won't be hangover today.
I also was on Brizzy's stream and she TOTALLY NAILED MY NICKNAME. You should get some lessons Catie, really. And she knew that I am Polish. I'm so happy that I know such great women as you and Brizzy.

yeah but like... even on tatooine? the fucking desert planet of slaves and poverty?
i understand what they were trying to convey, but instead it just looks cartoony and fake because it IS fake cartoons.

The problem with me is I make to many expectation and if things are too different in the end maybe I won't like it cause I had an idea how I would like the movie more. This little teaser are guiding a bit into a direction.

That is awesome congrats. I want to move somewhere better, with better job opportunities and weather. There aren't really any IT jobs in Indiana. I mean there are but any good ones.

>>76148
>>76129
Well with them living out in Cali they don't get to see family that often. They try to make a trip back here every couple years, but most of the family is still in Indiana. My great uncle works for NASA and that's why they live there. I have another Great Aunt and Uncle that live near them also but they don't visit as often.

That sounds good. I haven't had blue cheese that I know of. I'm lactose intolerant but I still eat dairy when it is too good not too. Like nacho cheese and ice cream. Ice cream is the worse the when it comes to lactose intolerance but it is worth it.

>> No. 76181

okay, okay
I know the crispness of the prequels vs the cozyness of the origionals does make the two sets seem disjointed, especially if you watch them b2b.
I just try to think of the respective stylings as a subjective interpretation of the ambiances because that way it seems done on purpose and then I can reconcile what seems like two separate universes,as you said, into one

but would I give up that interpretation for the best Star Wars yet to come? oh hell yeah
