It's really not that complicated. When you post rape fantasies or dox someone, you are abusing them. You are hurting them. When you do it (or defend it) with an air of self-righteous assurance that it's your culture, it's your job, because you're Anon -- that's sociopathic.
All kinds of people manage to post anonymously without falling below this very, very low standard. The people posting in this thread as Fanonymous are all managing not to engage in sociopathic behavior. Certain people on Unichan are less able or willing to restrain themselves. That's all.
> Explain how you are important to this? What is your role in CC? It seems that you may be more involved than you've been letting on.
I have no role whatever in CC. Never have. I posted an explanation of this in another thread, but of course not everyone would have read it. Back in November, within minutes of Catie showing up on eBay, I was contacted by several people who were organizing to create an "official" website for her. It was clear that bitter divisions already existed -- neither of the new groups wanted to involve Intrepid, or Boxxychan.
It didn't take a genius to see that no matter which group got the job, there would be jealousy and resentment. I stayed out of it, and didn't endorse or support any group. When Intrepid became "official" I sent him a congratulatory note. That was mainly because he and I had disagreed in the past (he banned me at one point). I wanted to acknowledge that he had done a better job of guessing Catie's wishes than I had. He was having a really good day, and it seemed like the decent thing to do was to acknowledge it. Since then I've exchanged emails with Intrepid maybe once or twice a year, but he doesn't ask me for advice and apart from sharing a few statistics I don't offer any.
> The only venues that will work for Catie, no offense, are ones with no criticism whatsoever. She already said that in her FS. What does that say about her character?
LOL, that she's a normal person and a normal YouTube performer. Look, first of all, she quoted and answered a number of critical questions in her Formspring. She apologized several times for different things. I don't think she can ever apologize enough to satisfy the more wound-up Anons, but she did listen to and acknowledge criticism. Telling me she is incapable is kind of fruitless, I can see her doing it.
But then that being said, this isn't a democracy. If you have enough self-confidence to get up in front of millions of people, you don't wait anxiously for them to vote on how you should style your hair. The idea that she should spend still more hours polling the fans on every detail of her career just seems very unrealistic to me. If that's what you're expecting, to tutor her step by step on how to do Boxxy, then no, I don't suppose there's a venue for that.
